About the studioDenver, Colorado
A one-woman studio for small, women-owned businesses

One person, one purpose.

I built Salt & Sage to help small, women-owned businesses get found and get booked online the way they already win people over in person.

The short version

I’m Sabrina. Salt & Sage Studios is my website, SEO, and digital strategy studio in Denver. I work with Pilates studios, salons, med spas, injectors, and estheticians. I audit websites, fix what’s in the way, and build new ones when a rebuild is actually the right call.

No. 01I was a client first

I was a client before I was a designer

I’ve anxiously booked a new hairdresser with no idea whether she’d be the right fit. I’ve found a Pilates studio I wanted to try and waited months to take a class, because I had questions the website couldn’t answer. I’ve been the prospective client for almost every kind of business I now help build, audit, and optimize.

Every one of them was run with real care. The care almost never made it to the website.

I built the studio I wanted to hire.

What you get with one person

01

No handoff.

I read your inquiry, write the copy, plan the pages, and test the booking links. There’s nobody to hand it to, so nothing gets lost in translation.

02

Fewer projects at once.

I keep the number small so I can learn your business instead of skimming it. Sometimes that means a start date a few weeks out. I’d rather say so than rush you.

03

Your brand, not mine.

I work in your colors, your voice, your photos. Nobody should be able to tell which websites are mine by looking at them.

Meet the studio’s creative director

Every studio needs a visionary. Mine is Marley. She’s been known to make an appearance on Zoom, has strong feelings about the five o’clock walk, and, as a Chihuahua, has never once considered the possibility that she might be wrong.

Her role is mostly supervisory. The strategy, the design, the details, and the late nights? Those are all me.

Things I’ll tell you that you don’t want to hear

01

You probably don’t need a new website.

Most people who ask for one don’t need one. If the foundation is sound, improving what you have is the better spend, and I’ll say so before you put time and money into a rebuild you didn’t need.

02

The cheapest option might be the right one.

A $395 Website Checkup solves more than you’d think. Ten prioritized fixes, with the words already written, often get a business further than a project ten times the price.

03

You might not be ready.

A website can’t rescue a brand that doesn’t know what it is yet. If you’re still deciding what you offer, who it’s for, and why someone would choose you, that work comes first. Get the business clear, then I’ll build the website it deserves.

You might be a fit if

Fit 01

You’ve been running your health, wellness, or beauty business for a few years, and you’ve put real care into it. The website hasn’t kept up, or doesn’t exist yet.

Fit 02

You already have a brand, real services and pricing, and clients who love you. The ingredients exist.

Fit 03

You’d rather improve what you have than rebuild for the sake of it.

Fit 04

You want honest advice, even when the answer is “you don’t need this.”

If you already have the brand, the photos, the menu, and the reviews, and the only thing missing is the website, that can be a single booked day. If you’re still choosing a name or need a logo and a brand identity first, I’ll happily point you somewhere else. That’s a different project, and I want you to find what you’re looking for.
