Everything people ask before they email, answered the way I’d answer over coffee.

Working together

Who do you work with?

Solo and women-owned businesses in health, wellness, and beauty: Pilates studios, salons, med spas, nurse injectors, bridal artists, and wellness practices, usually established ones: you’ve been at this a few years and the website hasn’t kept up. More on who I work with.

Do I need to be in Denver?

No. I’m in Denver and most of my clients are too, but everything I do works over Zoom and email, so if you’re in another state, that’s fine.

What platforms do you work on?

I’ll optimize any site you already have; Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, and Arketa are the most common. New websites are custom builds: fast, yours, and not fighting a template.

Can you work with the website I already have?

Yes, that’s exactly what Website Implementation is for. Most websites don’t need replacing; they need finishing.

What if I don’t have a website at all?

Then I skip the audit and talk about a Strategic Website, if the business is ready for one: a recognizable brand, strong photos of your work, real services and pricing, and proof your clients love you. If your presence lives on Instagram and a booking page, you’re often closer than you think. I’m organizing what exists, not inventing it.

Choosing a service

How do I know which service I need?

You don’t have to. Send a note describing what’s going on and I’ll point you to the right one, even if that’s the smallest one.

What’s the difference between a Website Checkup and a Digital Presence Audit?

The Checkup covers your website: up to five pages, ten prioritized recommendations with the answers included. The Audit covers everything: website, search, Google Business Profile, AI search, messaging, and booking, plus the Implementation Package: every fix from the audit written out and ready to paste.

What’s the difference between the Audit and Implementation?

The Audit hands you the plan; Implementation is me doing it. Book Website Implementation within 30 days of your Digital Presence Audit and the full $950 audit fee will be credited toward the project. The credit applies to Website Implementation only, not to an Implementation Day or another service, and it is not redeemable for cash.

Can I start small and upgrade later?

That’s how the ladder is designed. Most clients start with a Checkup or an Audit and grow from there; Arc Pilates went from a 24-page audit to a full optimization within the month.

Process and timelines

Can you just fix it fast?

Sometimes, yes. If you’ve had an audit, the Implementation Day is one booked day where I work through the top of your findings list and publish the changes as I go. What a day can’t do is rebuild pages, restructure navigation, or replace a booking flow. If your audit points there, I’ll say so and steer you to Implementation instead.

How long does each service take?

A Website Checkup takes 5 business days. A Digital Presence Audit takes 7 to 10 days. Website Implementation is project-based, typically 2 to 3 weeks depending on scope. An Implementation Day is one booked day. A Strategic Website runs 4 to 6 weeks depending on size and whether copy and branding exist yet. The Implementation Day is one booked day, published by evening.

What do you need from me to get started?

Access to your website and Google Business Profile, your best photos, one conversation, and honest answers about what’s working and what isn’t.

What do I actually receive?

Depends on the service: The 10 Things I’d Do Next, the two Audit PDFs, the live changes plus a change log, or the finished website with a walkthrough. Everything is built to be used, not admired.

What happens after launch?

I’m available by email for any questions for 30 days after launch, included in every project.

SEO, local search, and AI

What is local SEO and why does it matter?

When someone searches “pilates near me” or “lip filler Denver,” local SEO is what decides whether you appear. For a service business, it matters more than almost anything else on this list.

Why would ChatGPT recommend my business?

AI answer engines pull from the same signals search engines use: clear structure, consistent information, real reviews, and pages that actually answer questions. If your website is legible to Google, it’s on the way to being legible to AI. The most useful single step is a plain-language facts block stating who you are, where, and what you offer.

Can you help with my Google Business Profile?

Yes, it’s part of every Digital Presence Audit. For most local businesses the profile does more work than the homepage.

How long before I see results from SEO?

Google Business Profile changes can show in days to weeks. Organic rankings take months and depend on your competition. Anyone promising faster is selling something. If you want the plain-language version of how this works, the free local SEO guide covers it.

Money and ownership

How does pricing work?

Fixed price, agreed before anything starts. No surprises, no hourly meter running. The five starting points: Website Checkup $395, Digital Presence Audit from $950, Website Implementation from $1,750, Strategic Website from $3,500, and the Social Media Strategy Audit from $750.

How does payment work?

For everything except new website builds, payment is due upfront. New websites are 50% upfront and 50% at launch.

Do you offer ongoing retainers?

Not currently. Every project includes 30 days of email support after delivery, and you can come back for another round whenever you need one.

Do I own my website?

Yes. Your domain, your hosting account, and your files are yours. You’re never locked in.
