No. 01The starting point

Jenna had already built a Pilates studio people loved. Arc Pilates and Movement had a perfect 5.0 on Google, a team of former dancers, and clients who came to them for everything from injury recovery to prenatal movement. One client wrote that Jenna “gave me my body back.”

The website already felt like Arc. The problem was that search engines and new clients couldn’t easily find what made the studio so special. When I opened the site’s code, I found that the title tag was a single period. That was it. Every page inherited it.

Each issue was fixable. Together, they were making a very good studio much harder to find, understand, and choose online.

No. 02What we did

Jenna and I started with a 24-page audit covering SEO, AI search, conversion, growth systems, social, and marketing. Every finding was graded and ranked by impact against effort.

The package included new page titles and meta descriptions, an “Arc at a Glance” section to give search engines and AI tools the facts they needed, and FAQs written in Arc’s voice. They answered the questions clients actually ask about first sessions, injuries, pregnancy, and getting started.

Once the plan was clear, we moved into optimization. We kept everything Jenna loved and worked on the quieter, behind-the-scenes pieces that help the site get found and make sense once someone arrives.

From the file

“An audit should not end with you staring at 24 pages, wondering what to do first.”

No. 03What changed

Arc’s homepage now has a clear, locally focused title that tells Google exactly what the studio offers and where to find it.

Every page carries a description written in Arc’s voice, the studio’s 5.0 finally lives on the site, and the first-timer questions are answered before anyone has to ask.

This is what working with Pilates studios usually looks like: an audit first, then the changes made.
